A project that has just been born

We are at the very beginning, and we know it. There is still a huge amount to build, polish and improve. That is exactly why your support is essential for the project to grow, and for us to grow it together.

Why Beatjob was born

Beatjob was born from the needs of its creator, Alberto Mateo Alcalá, who designs and develops it on his own. While looking for a new job, Alberto ran into the usual problems: resumes that did not get past the filters, job offers that did not match his profile and a process that is sometimes confusing and frustrating.

That experience gave rise to the idea: building a project to help people with their job search, so that applying is simpler and less frustrating.

How we write our guides

• Every guide is written by Alberto Mateo Alcalá, the creator of Beatjob, and carries his byline.
• Data and recommendations that are not our own are backed by sources we link at the end of each guide: public bodies, universities and media outlets. We do not use resume companies or job boards as sources.
• Every guide shows the date of its last update. When a figure or a recommendation changes, we update the guide and that date.
• If you find a mistake, write to us using the contact form and we will fix it.

A completely free service

The goal is to offer a completely free service so that anyone can use it, including people who cannot afford to pay a subscription for this kind of service.

Accessible to everyone

We believe that technology that helps people find work should not be reserved for those who can pay for it. That is why Beatjob wants to be an open tool, with no barriers.
