1. Acceptance of the terms

By accessing or using Beatjob, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, you must not use the service.

2. Description of the service

Beatjob is a free web application that lets you create, edit, store and download resumes in PDF format. Some features may use artificial intelligence to suggest or optimize the content of the resume.

The service is provided as is and may change, be extended or stop being available at any time without prior notice.

3. Registration and account

To use Beatjob you need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide a valid email address and a secure password.
• Keep your credentials confidential. We will not share your password with anyone and we will never ask you for it by email or any other channel.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect that your account has been compromised.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

The service is intended for people over 16. If you are under that age, you must not create an account.

4. Acceptable use

When using Beatjob, you agree NOT to:

• Publish false, defamatory, offensive or discriminatory content, or content that infringes the rights of third parties.
• Use the service for illegal activities or to harass, threaten or harm other people.
• Try to access accounts, data or areas of the service you are not authorized to access.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the source code of the application, except to the extent expressly permitted by law.
• Intentionally overload the infrastructure (denial of service attacks, mass scraping, etc.).
• Use the service to send spam or unsolicited communications from resumes created in Beatjob.
• Create multiple accounts to evade suspensions or any other restriction.

5. User content

You keep ownership of the content you enter in Beatjob (personal data, experience, education, etc.).

By uploading or entering content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, free and limited license to store, process and display that content solely to provide the service to you (for example, to generate the PDF or render the preview). This license ends when you delete your account or the corresponding content.

You are solely responsible for the content you enter. We do not review the content of resumes systematically, but we may remove content that breaches these terms or the applicable law.

6. Beatjob's intellectual property

The brand, design, source code, texts, graphics and any other element of the service (except the content entered by users) belong to Beatjob / Alberto Mateo Alcalá and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view and download your own resume as a PDF. Reproducing, distributing or transforming the rest of the service is not allowed without prior written authorization.

7. AI features

Some features of the service (for example, ATS optimization and content suggestions) are based on artificial intelligence models provided by third parties (OpenRouter and others). AI-generated content is offered as a suggestion and must be reviewed by you before you include it in your resume. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or suitability of AI-generated content.

8. Availability and changes to the service

Beatjob is offered without any guarantee of continuous availability. We may carry out maintenance, updates or interruptions that affect the service, with or without prior notice.

We may add, change or remove features of the service at any time. If the changes are substantial, we will try to notify you reasonably in advance.

9. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without express or implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beatjob will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to: loss of data, loss of job opportunities or loss of earnings.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or delete your account if you breach these terms, if the activity of your account poses a risk to the security of the service or to other users, or if the law requires us to do so.

You can delete your account at any time from the settings. After deletion, your personal data will be erased in accordance with our privacy policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms to reflect legal, technical or operational changes to the service. If the changes are substantial, we will announce them with a visible notice on the page itself and, where appropriate, by email. The date of the last update appears at the top of this document. Continuing to use the service after the changes means you accept the new terms.

12. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the applicable Spanish and European Union law. To resolve any dispute arising from these terms or from the use of the service, the parties submit to the courts of the city of Madrid (Spain), except where consumer protection law establishes another mandatory jurisdiction.
